Local solar energy company practices what they preach with 31 kW solar array on new HQ
Charleston, SC, September 1, 2017 – Alder Energy Systems LLC, a trusted South Carolina turnkey solar provider, is pleased to announce the opening of their new solar powered headquarters. They installed the solar array on the roof of their building located at 495 Jessen Lane, just off of Clements Ferry road in Charleston, SC. The installation utilizes 107 solar panels which create over 43,000 kilowatt hours of electricity annually, enough to offset 100 percent of Alder Energy’s electricity use. This allows them to reach their goal of having a net-zero energy building.

Alder Energy’s new facility combines office and warehouse space that has been retrofitted with LED lighting and wifi thermostats, continuing the company’s commitment to cleaner energy. Employees and guests can also enjoy the benefit of an electric vehicle charging station on site.
